Hannah Einbinder took her first Amy home on Sunday, winning a comedy series for her role in HBO Max, winning an outstanding supporting actress. However, his acceptance speech was partially censored during live broadcast after issuing a political statement.

Palestine advocacy
For those, Einbinder is a famous supporter of Palestinian rights. She was one of more than 3,900 artists and industry professionals, who recently signed an open letter to not work with Israeli institutions or film companies, which “was implicated in massacres and apartheid against the Palestinians.”
“Filmmaker, actor, film industry activists and institutions, we recognize the power of cinema to shape the perceptions,” the letter states. “In this essential moment of crisis, where many of our governments are enableing the massacre in Gaza, we should do everything to address the complexity in that incredible terror.”
