West Bengal UG Admission 2024: Interested and eligible candidates can apply for admission through the newly launched centralised UG admission portal – wbcap.in.
The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has started the registration process for state undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Those who have passed class 12 or equivalent exams can apply for the admission process. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for admission through the newly launched centralized UG admission portal – wbcap.in.
The last date to apply is July 7. The first merit list will be released on July 12. The last date for admission is July 18 and the new academic session will begin on August 7. The second merit list will be released on August 8.
West Bengal UG Admission 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official portal of WB UG Admissions, wbcap.in.
Step 2: Click on the UG Admission Registration link.
Step 3: Register yourself using your mobile number and email ID.
Step 4: Fill the application form using the required details.
Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the fees.
Step 6: Submit the form. Download and take a printout of the acknowledgement form for further use.
West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu had earlier said that candidates should note that Presidency University, Jadavpur University and some autonomous and minority colleges have been exempted from this arrangement.
