This year’s SSC written examination for teacher recruitment will be held on 7 and 14 September. About 5,65,000 candidates will sit for the recruitment exam.

The final SSC exam was held in 2016. After about 9 years, the School Services Commission is once again conducting the Teacher Recruitment Examination. This year’s SSC written examination for teacher recruitment will be held on 7 and 14 September. About 5,65,000 candidates will sit for the 9th -10 and 11th -12th class recruitment examinations. The examination will be administered at 636 centers across the state, with special restrictions on OMR sheets this year.
There are a total of 23,212 vacant posts for 9th and 10th grade, and 12,514 vacancies for 11th and 12th grade. In Kolkata alone, the examination will be held at 41 centers. On the coming Sunday, 3,19,650 candidates will take written examination for 9th and 10th teacher recruitment. On September 14, 2,54,000 candidates will appear for the 11th and 12th recruitment exams.
Strict rules have been determined for the examination. Candidates will have to enter the examination center from 10 am. SSC has already sent guidelines to each district. In this written examination, candidates will be allowed to take carbon copy of their OMR sheet. Any additional comment or picture on OMR, in addition to the answer, can lead to cancellation of examination.
Candidates will have to download their admit card and take it to the exam as they will not be allowed inside the examination hall without it. Anyone with issues about your admit card should also take their Aadhaar card.

step 2: Enter your user ID and password.
step 3: Click on the link to download WB SSC Admit Card 2025, when out.
step 4: Download hit.
Step 5: Print a copy of the admit card for future reference.
What not to take?
Candidates are banned from bringing smartwatch, calculator, or any electronic gadget to examination centers. Each room will have a wall clock, and CCTV cameras are mandatory in all examination centers. The government has issued district-by-district guidelines, stating that these testing centers will be monitored by Deputy Magistrate-level officials.
