Netflix has confirmed the release date for Wednesday season 2. Streaming giant cleverly announced on 23 April (Wednesday) with a handful of images with the first official trailer.
When will the Wednesday season 2 be released?
The second season of the beloved horror-comedy will be released in two parts, with Part 1 on Netflix on August 6 and Part 2 on September 3. You can see the teaser trailer below:

Is Jenna Ortga returning to the show?
Jena Ortga will return as the title character, Wednesday as Adams in the second season. The 22 -year -old, who is a producer in the upcoming season, said, “The most exciting thing is being able to see him again.”
“Adams on Wednesday is one of the best characters of all time, so he has the opportunity to play once, and then to slip into the dress and be able to slip again in the tone, it’s so fun,” said Ortega.
He said, “She runs circles around everyone, with whom she interacts, so to play someone who is more intelligent than you, it is quite fun and strange and enjoyable,” she said.
What will happen about Wednesday season 2?
The upcoming season will expand the Adams Family Storyline by introducing new characters like Hester Frump, the mother of Mortisia Adams, which will be played by Joana Lumli.
“Season 1 really focuses on Wednesday, but you met other characters, but they did not know, and now we get to expand their stories and expand the show’s scope and width,” manufacturer Alfred Guff told the outlet.
