The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is expected to publish the WBJEE 2025 results on its official website wbjeb.nic.in soon. Board Chairperson Sonali Chakraborty of the board had earlier informed AyraNews24x7 that WBJEE 2025 results were delayed due to ongoing surveys to identify OBCS. Since the category of a student greatly affects the WBJEE rank allocation, the results will be announced only after the new OBC is officially confirmed.
Once out, the board will also release the cutoff marks and merit list with the results. The cutoff for WBJEE 2025 will be affected by various factors, such as the number of applicants, the availability of seat, the difficulty of the examination and the previous year’s cutoff trends.
Wbjee 2025 steps to check results:
step 1. Visit the official WBjeb website on wbjeb.nic.in.
step 2. Navigate on the exam section on the homepage and click on the WBJEE option.
step 3. Scroll down and detect the link for WBJEE 2025 results.
step 4. Enter the required details and click on submit.
Step 5. The result will be displayed on your screen.
Step 6. Download and print WBJEE results for future reference.
Wbjee 2025 exam details:
This year, the WBJEE exam was held on 27 April in a pen-end-paper format at various centers of West Bengal. The exam took place in two shifts: Paper 1 (Mathematics) from 11 am to 1 pm and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) from 2 pm to 4 pm. The initial answer key was released on 9 May.
WBJEE 2025 included three categories with separate marking schemes. In Category 1, students earn a digit for each correct answer, with a one-fourth mark deduction for each wrong answer. Category 2 The two -digit prize for each correct answer, half a mark for each wrong answer is cut. In category 3, students get two marks per correct answer, with no negative marking.

Last year, 1,42,694 students registered for the examination, with 99,574 passing. The merit list included four students of West Bengal Board, four from CBSE Board and two from ISC Board. Kingshuk Patra of Bankura District School topped the examination, followed by Subhiradeep Pal from Kalyan University School. Vivasan Biswas of Krishnagar finished third.
