All six people were killed in a helicopter accident in the Hudson River, including three children from Spain. The incident has recently expressed concern over accidents and US aviation security after accidents and a midar collision with Washington, DC. Investigation is underway by FAA and NTSB.

Talking about the incident, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said at a press conference, “At this time, all six victims have been removed from water. And sadly all six victims have been pronounced the deceased.”

One eyewitness told the Associated Press that he saw the helicopter falling into the midar, while the other said the aircraft was walking uncontrollably as it had fallen.
The helicopter flight road, which began in a heliport near Wall Street, suggests that before the accident, the group flew towards the south statue, then moved backwards towards the George Washington Bridge before turning back.
“We are destroyed,” said Michael Roth, Chief Executive Officer of the New York Helicopter, who operated the flight. “We are sad for what happened, and we are working with investigators.”
The Federal Aviation Administration said that it could not confirm the number of people on the board, but said that it would investigate what happened to the Bel 206 helicopter with the National Transport Safety Board. NTSB said in a statement that this information was collecting information.
The previous helicopter crash raises the security issue

“This is clearly a sad situation,” Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop said, who said that the reason for this is currently unknown. “But it will give rise to a big conversation, we are all doing that from the security point of view it is all necessary to have how densely populated this area is.”
