The Ministry of Education Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 will shut down the registration window for 6 October, 2025 today. Interested participants can register on vbb.mic.gov.in through the official website. The Ministry of Education, in partnership with the Atal Innovation Mission, is operating the Vikasit Bharat Buildhan 2025, a nationwide initiative, which encourages students from class 6 to 12 to demonstrate their creativity and problem-solution skills.
The main attraction of Buildhan is the National Live Buildhan, prescribed for October 13, 2025. The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will see students across the country participating together. Students are encouraged to work in teams of five to seven and develop prototypes or ideas that solve the challenges of the real world. Schools can register several teams to participate in the event.
After the live event, schools can submit their entries from October 14 to October 31, 2025. These entries will be evaluated in November, and the winners will be announced in December. The objective of the Buildon is to support India’s vision to become a developed nation by 2047 by promoting innovation and practical problems among young learners.
The 2025 version of Buildon focuses on four national subjects:
Self -sufficiency
Indigenous – encouraging indigenous solutions
Vocal for local – highlight local products and resources
Prosperity – Construction of path for prosperity and sustainable development
The top 10,000 entries will be national recognized, as well as with the advice and potential adoption opportunities by corporate partners. Students, teachers and schools across India are urged to take maximum advantage of this platform to display their innovative ideas on the national and global platform.

To register, students and schools need to complete the online application by visiting the official website, filling individual and school details and using credentials provided.
