Gurgaon (Haryana) [India]26 December: three years in operation, VEV Travels Private Limited Has achieved a significant financial milestone: ₹15 crore in annual revenue, achieved with a 32% year-on-year growth rate that places it among the fastest expanding travel service companies in the region.
The Gurgaon firm, founded in 2022 by CEO Tarun Yadav and director Renuka Yadav, has grown from a startup to an employer of over 200 professionals while building partnerships with global travel brands including Hilton Group, Hertz and Expedia Group.
The numbers tell part of the story. VEV Travels processed over 1 million bookings this year, serving customers across India and the United States through its Gurgaon facility. But the company’s trajectory reflects something beyond the typical travel agency evolution – it’s built on a partnership model that leverages established brand relationships rather than competing on price alone.
“We made a conscious choice from the beginning,” Tarun Yadav Explains. “Instead of trying to undercut everyone on price, we focused on building relationships with brands that travelers already trust. That means partnering with Hilton for hotels, Avis for car rentals, and Expedia Group for budget, comprehensive travel solutions.”
The strategy required patience. Those partnerships took time to establish, and the company had to prove it could deliver the volume and service quality. But once established, partnerships laid the foundation for rapid expansion.
Renuka YadavThe man who manages operations and partner relations says the company’s team of 200 is the real engine behind growth. “We have invested heavily in recruiting multilingual professionals who can handle complex itineraries in different markets,” she says. “Our team works 24/7 because our customers are traveling globally, in all time zones.”
The company recently expanded its infrastructure with a dedicated 75-seat BPO center focused on US market operations, a move that signals confidence in continued growth. This facility is specifically designed to serve American travelers planning to visit India and Indian travelers visiting the United States.
VEV Travels’ employment growth has been steady: from a handful of people in 2022 to more than 200 today, with plans to add 50-75 more positions in 2025. For Gurgaon’s economy, this means new jobs in the sector that require training and skill development.
The recovery of the travel industry after the pandemic has created opportunities, but also intensified competition. VEV’s approach has been to establish itself as a premium service provider rather than competing in the budget segment. The 32% annual growth rate shows the strategy is gaining momentum.
“There is a segment of travelers who want more than just a booking confirmation,” explains Tarun. “They want someone who can answer questions at 2 a.m. when their flight is delayed, who knows the hotels at their destination, and who can rearrange everything if plans change. That’s the level of service we provide.”
The company works with major hotel chains (Hilton Group, IHG, Hyatt, Sheraton), car rental companies (Budget, Avis, Hertz, Alamo) and OTA platforms (Trip.com, Hotel Beds, RateHawk). These partnerships, combined with the company’s service layer, create what Tarun calls “the best of both worlds – brand credibility with personalized attention.”
Looking ahead, VEV Travels is targeting 50% growth in 2025, an ambitious goal that will require continued hiring, technology investments and possibly additional partnerships. The management team believes the market opportunity supports that trajectory.
