Although these infections are usually associated with women, men are not immune and their risks are increasing. In men, UTIs are often associated with complications such as prostate problems, kidney stones, or sexual activity.

Poor hydration:
Many men, especially those who have demanding jobs or live in fast-paced environments, overlook the importance of drinking adequate amounts of water. Dehydration can cause urine to thicken which irritates the bladder and encourages bacterial growth.
Tension:

Poor work-life balance:
Men, especially in high-pressure jobs, often neglect their health and struggle to balance work and personal life. This neglect can lead to poor eating habits, inadequate sleep, and a weak immune system – all of which increase susceptibility to UTIs.
Lack of awareness about proper hygiene:

The urologist further explained about prevention tips to stay safe, “UTI prevention includes leading a healthy lifestyle, staying hydrated, managing stress, and practicing proper hygiene.” The doctor also suggested men to be more conscious about their health and seek timely help by recognizing early symptoms.
