Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) preliminary and main examinations for 2025. Made through both civil services examinations and ESE. “ESE (Preliminary) 2025 and ESE (Main) 2025 will now be conducted on June 8, 2025, and August 10, 2025, respectively,” UPSC said in an official notice.
“In view of the decision of the Government to include IRMS in ESE, 2025, the opening of the correction window was put on hold with effect from 09.10.2024 (i.e. the day following the last date of receipt of applications (08.10.2024)) . ,” reads the official notice by UPSC.
The commission will also reopen the registration deadline on October 18 and close it on November 22. Through registration, not only new applicants will be able to apply but old applicants will also be able to make corrections in their application form. Additionally, all applicants will also be provided a correction/edit window of seven days from November 23 to 29, during which they will be able to modify/edit their details, the notification said.
The UPSC ESE 2025 application window was earlier open till October 8, 2024 and the Preliminary/Phase-I exam was scheduled to be held on February 9, 2025.
