UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Final Exam Result 2025 Out: Marks of the candidates will be available on the website within 15 days from the result publication date.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Combined Geo-Scientist Final Examination Result 2025. Candidates who participated in the interview can check their result on upsc.gov.in.
The result of 20 candidates has been kept provisional. It added that offers of appointment will not be issued to candidates whose result has been kept provisional until the Commission verifies the original documents awaited from such candidates.
The preliminary examination was held on 9 February, followed by the main examination on 21 and 22 June, with the personality test in September. The marks of the candidates will be available on the website within 15 days from the result publication date.
“Appointments to the above posts will be made by the government as per the number of vacancies available and the candidates will satisfactorily fulfill all the prescribed eligibility conditions and all pre-appointment formalities/verifications, wherever required. The allocation of candidates to the services/posts will be made as per their merit position and preference of the services/posts chosen by them,” the official notice said.

The selected persons will work in any one of the following: Geologist Group ‘A’; Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) Group ‘A’; Assistant Hydrologist Group ‘B’; Geophysicist Group ‘A’; Scientist ‘B’ (Geophysics) Group ‘A’; Assistant Geophysicist Group ‘B’; Chemist Group ‘A’; Scientist ‘B’ (Chemical) Group ‘A’ or Assistant Chemist Group ‘B’.
In case of any discrepancy in the results, candidates can seek clarification regarding their recruitment by calling 011-23385271/23381125 between 10 am to 5 pm as advised by UPSC.
