Thousands of people appear in government recruitment exams every year. There is an important update for the candidates appearing for Staff Nurse (Allopathic) recruitment. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has reportedly decided to implement the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance 2024 for the upcoming Staff Nurse (Allopathic) Male and Female main exam. The exam is scheduled to be held on July 28, 2024. The ordinance was issued by the Uttar Pradesh government on July 1.
Under this ordinance, there are strict provisions against the use of unfair means, cheating and leaking or illegal distribution of question papers. Involvement in such conspiracies can lead to a fine of up to Rs 1 crore and life imprisonment. Those found involved in such acts will be dealt with strictly. The main exam for 2240 seats of Staff Nurse Male and Female is scheduled to be held at several exam centers in Prayagraj and Lucknow. As per the official notification published by the commission, there are about 171 seats for male candidates and 2069 seats for female candidates. The exam will start at 9:30 am and will go on till 12:30 pm. Candidates are advised to reach their allotted venue before the reporting time to avoid last minute rush.

Earlier, the paper of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer Preliminary Examination 2024, held on February 11, was leaked, due to which the exam was canceled. The Police Constable Recruitment Exam was also canceled due to alleged paper leak. After these incidents, the Uttar Pradesh government took strict action and implemented a new ordinance.
The registration process for this exam started on 4th September 2023 and continued till 18th October 2023. The preliminary exam for this campaign was conducted on 19th December, 2023.
