University of Mumbai First Merit List 2025: The University of Mumbai on Tuesday released the first merit list for admission for the academic year 2025-26.
This list is related to admission for academic year 2025-26 in its 850 affiliated colleges, autonomous institutions. The second merit list is expected to be released on 31 May, mention some reports.
Ruia College, St. Xavier, KPB Hinduja College has released its cut-offs in various categories and courses.
First merit list cut for Hinduja College 2025
The first merit list cut off score for Hinduja College is as follows:
FYBCom – 71%
Fybammc – Science (68.83%), Art (83%), Commerce (82%)
Cut the first merit list for St. Xavier College 2025
For St. Xavier’s College, the cut-off for general category candidates is as follows:
Maharashtra State Board Candidates (Art): 90%
Other: 97.40%
Ruia College First Merit List Cut Off 2025
The cut-off score for Ruia College is as follows:
Faiba – 90%
Fybacm – Art (91.33%), Commerce (90.6%), Science (91.6%)
FYBSC – Computer Science – 80.17%
More than 2 lakh students register for the pre-entry
According to reports, a total of 2,53,370 students registered for pre-entry, submitted 8,11,643 applications in various graduate courses.
The admission process includes 3-year-old degree programs, 4-year-old honors and research programs with respect and 5-year integrated programs that offer many entry and exit options.
‘… should follow the strict admission schedule’
“All colleges should strictly follow the admission schedule, follow the criteria of the government and Mumbai,” said Pooja Rourdley, director of the Board of Examination and Evolution.
The Director of the Examination Board further said that according to the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission and the State Government, all admissions will be done on the basis of course-wise capacity, reservation policies and eligibility requirements.
