UGC NET June 2025 Results declared: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2025 session of the University. The examination was conducted across the country in various centers in a computer-based test (CBT) mode between 18 and 21 June.
Examination candidates can now use their scorecard by visiting the official website. ugcnet.nta.ac.inCandidates have to submit their application number and date of birth to check and download their scorecard.

More than 1.88 lakh candidates qualify in the June 2025 cycle
Of the 10,19,751 candidates registered for the June cycle, 7,52,007 appeared for the examination. Based on their performance and the prescribed cut-off criteria, the number of the following candidates is eligible:
5,269 Candidates qualified for both JRF and Assistant Professorship
54,885 Assistant Professorship and PhD Entry Entry Entry
1,28,179 Eligible for only PhD entry
UGC NET Subject Cut-off
Candidates have been shortlisted on the basis of subject-wise and class-specific cut-off scores. These cut-off marks determine eligibility for JRF, assistant professorship and PhD programs.

Candidates who obtain minimum qualification marks in their respective subjects and category are considered eligible for the respective levels.
UGC NET is a national level eligibility test conducted for three primary purposes-recruitment to the post of assistant professor, awards from Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admission to PhD programs in Indian colleges and universities.
Candidates who qualify for JRF are eligible for funded research fellowships in universities and can also apply for assistant professors roles.
The qualification for assistant professorship is eligible to apply for teaching positions in colleges and universities across the country.
