World Music Festival

Udaipur. Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival 2025 has started a grand debut in Udaipur, the city of lakes. On the first day of this festival held at Gandhi Ground, music lovers enjoyed the presentations of veteran artists from India and abroad. This festival, organized in collaboration with Hindustan Zinc Limited and Tourism Department of Rajasthan Government, is envisaged by Sahar. In this three -day event, admission for the audience has been kept free.

Fantastic presentations of the first day
The first day began with Yar Mohammad Langa and his Sarangi orchestra, who tied the melodious tunes of Rajasthani folk music. After this, Algerian blues-rock band Tivija mesmerized the audience with his energetic performance. Sukriti-Prakriti Kakkar’s pop pair and Kanika Kapoor filled the hot songs of Bollywood in the night.

Grammy Award winner Dobet Ganhore tied up
The main attraction of the evening was the Grammy Award winner Dobet Ganhore’s Afropop performance. His loud voice, adorable dance and rhythm forced the audience to swing. The festival successfully presented the combination of Indian and global music on stage.

Unique confluence of music and culture
On the beginning of the festival, the founder-director of Sahar, Sanjeev Bhargava said, ‘This festival is a unique confluence of music of various cultures. The presentations of Tiwiza, Dobet Gnahore and Sarangi Orchestra showed our cultural diversity well. Arun Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Zinc Limited, said, ‘This festival is an attempt to bring various forms of music and culture together. Our aim is to establish Udaipur as a global cultural capital.

Presentations of the coming days
The three -day festival will have programs at Manji’s Ghat, Fateh Sagar Pal and Gandhi Ground for the next two days. Manji will have classical and folk music performances between 8 am and 10 am on the ghat. Romantic tunes will be played on Fateh Sagar Pal from 3 to 5 pm. There will be energetic performances on Gandhi Ground from 6 to 10 pm. Even on the second and third day, well-known artists from the country and abroad will mesmer the audience with their music performances.

Udaipur becomes the center of music lovers
Vedanta Udaipur World Music Festival has once again made Udaipur the center of attraction for music lovers. The confluence of various cultures and music styles has emerged as an unforgettable experience for the audience.
