The new TVS raider includes dual disc brakes for better fuel economy, increased stopping power and IGO Assist Technology.
TVS Motor Company has launched a new version of the raider in the Indian market. With updates, the motorcycle gets many new features, but there are no significant mechanical or cosmetic changes. The raider now also provides four new features that do not have any other 125 cc motorcycles in the section. There is a quick runout of those facilities here.

1. Dual disc brake
Then there are also dual disc brakes with single-channel anti-lock braking system. In addition to a rear disc brake, the stopping will help increase the power, while the anti-lock braking will ensure that the rider does not lock the front wheel when braking.
2. Boost Mode with IGE assistance
The IGO Assist technology provides an additional torque boost of 0.55 Nm that can be used in quick overtaking conditions. It also integrates the integrated starter generator with an auto start/stop system function that shuts down the engine during the stop and automatically restarts it. It helps in offering better fuel economy.
3. Follow me home headlamp
The bike now also has a follow-me home headlamp. This is a feature that we have seen on cars and recently in some scooters. It basically illuminate the headlamp for a short time even after closing the ignition and engine, which helps the rider in dark and parking conditions.

4. Glide through technology
Glide Through Technology first started on the Apache motorcycle of TVS Motor Company. And gradually it fell down with more affordable raider. What it does, allows the rider to crawl into the city’s traffic without any throttle input. TVS achieved this by allowing the ECU to increase the engine raves automatically when it finds that the engine can be stall.

The TVS Motor Company also made some cosmetic changes. First, there are minor cosmetic changes to separate the top-end variants from other variants. It comes with metallic silver bodywork, which is combined with a split seat setup and a red alloy wheel. Tires on the motorcycle are also widespread that should provide better stability and grip.

The price of the new TVS raider is 95,600 (ex-showroom Delhi) for TFT DD and 93,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) for SXC DD.
