The Hosur-based automaker TVS recently resumed its electric scooter lineup by launching the TVS Orbiter. It has taken the status of Iqube, served as an entry-level model in the company’s portfolio.
Interestingly, the Indian vehicle manufacturer has also offered the segment-first features on the orbiter, but the question is: what? Another question is how it is different from installed TV? Well, read to detect differences.
TVS Orbitter vs. TVS IQUBE: Design and features
TVS Orbiter does not have the mainstream design language as it has 845 mm and a flat seat (extended) of a flat floor. These practical features are usually left in many modern scooters. Both these things contribute to a comfortable ride. Not only this, this new TVS EV also has a 34-liter better under-sept storage, unlike Iqube’s 32-liter storage.
The front, the new orbiter has a high-mounted headlamp cluster that goes well with a DRL strip, which is integrated into the front apron. In parallel, its rear-end also has a modern touch, thanks to the unique LED strip.
Orbiter EV rides on both ends on 14 -inch wheels, as well as provides 169 mm ground clearance.
According to TV, the 2025 orbiter segment -first feature – is equipped with cruise control – complement with a safety check for a safe ride. Other features include a USB charging port, an automatic hill assistance and a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. With this wireless connectivity, no one can enable tasks like live-tracking, toing alert, anti-theft alert, vehicle health status and near charging stations.
On the other hand, familiar TV Iqube is known for an upmarket look, thanks to its smooth style and a premium finish. For features, the IQUBE EV provides 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, document storage, call/SMS alert, crash/fall alert, ride mode, etc.
IQUBE also has small 12 -inch wheels. For storage, it has a slightly lower capacity than the new orbiter, which is rated at 32 liters.
TVS Orbiter vs. TVS Iqube: Performance & Range
TVS has introduced a single battery pack of 3.1 kwh on only 2025 organ EVs. According to the automaker, the new entry-level TVS EV can offer a boundary of 158 km on a charge. Orbiter TVS makes an affordable option for Iqube’s 3.5kwh variants, with a limit of 145 km.
In addition to the 3.5kwh version of IQUBE, three more battery packs are available. These include 2.2kwh, 3.1kwh, and 5.3kwh.
The average pre-showroom value of the latter is 1.09 lakhs, while in the east is an introductory pre-showroom value 99,000.
TVS Orbiter vs. TVS IQUBE: Color and Returning
The new orbiter EV is available in six vibrant colors: Stratos Blue, Neon Sunbst, Staller Silver, Lunar Gray, Martian Copper and Cosmic Titanium. In parallel, the TVS IQUBE EV has several color options in monotone and dual-tone, depending on the version.
