TS EDCET 2024: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will close the registration window and end the application process for Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) 2024 on Friday, May 10, 2024. Those who have not yet registered for the entrance exam can visit the official website edcet.tsche.ac.in and enroll for it till May 13, 2024. However, they will have to pay late fees. 250.
It is important to note that applicants must first deposit the application fee, and then enter the payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, and date of birth before they proceed to fill the TS EDCET 2024 application form.
TS EDCET 2024: Eligibility
As per TS EDCET 2024 Notification, General/Unreserved category candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute/university with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
Candidate Candidates belonging to SC, ST and BC categories must have at least 40% aggregate marks in the undergraduate degree programme.
Candidates must be at least 19 years of age as on July 1, 2024.
TS EDCET 2024: Application Fee
As per the notification, TS EDCET 2024 application fee payment is mandatory for the applicants. Candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories have to pay the application fee Rs.750, while candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD) categories have to pay 500.
TS EDCET 2024: Step-by-step guide to fill the application form
- Visit the official website: edcet.tsche.ac.in.
- Click on Application Section and go to Application Fee Payment
- Pay the application fee after entering the required information
- Now, click on “Fill the Application Form” and submit the credentials
- Enter all required details
- Upload your signature and photograph in the required format.
- Click submit and confirm
- Download the confirmation form and save a hard copy for future reference
As per the official notification, TS EDCET 2024 The exam will be conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University on May 23, 2024. Qualified candidates will be eligible for counselling, on the basis of which a merit list will be prepared for granting admission to B.Ed courses.
