This has been the biggest reason for creating such a small division.

According to GM Ashok Verma of Northern Railway, when the railway line till the valley becomes operational, there will be a need to run more trains. After the formation of the division, it will be easy to operate trains from Jammu to the entire valley. At present the entire valley rail network is covered by Firozpur division. He told that Firozpur division falls in a corner. Be it a survey of a new railway line in the valley or any problem faced by the local people. Both had problems. Railway officials and local people have to travel long distances. But this will not happen now. Sitting in Jammu, the entire rail network of the valley can be easily covered and new trains can be run.
The train will reach here soon
He told that the railway line between Katra and Sangaldan is going to start soon. After this, a large number of people will reach the valley by train to visit Switzerland. For this, planning to run new trains and goods trains will be beneficial after the formation of Jammu Division.
