Toyota Kirluskar Motor (TKM) has announced a major security upgradation for its family-oriented MPV, Toyota Ramian. According to the company’s commitment to increase road safety and prioritize the welfare of the customer, six airbags are now standard in all variants of the model.
With the move, every Ramian is now equipped with a dual front, side and curtain shield airbags, offering a 360 -degree living protection. Apart from the airbags, Toyota has also introduced a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in the top-spec V grade.
Ramian is deployed as a versatile MPV based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It mixes style, comfort and practicality. It features a chrome-high grill, projector headlamps, LED tail lamps and dual-tone alloy wheels, complemented by a seven-seater cabin. The interior provides dual tone upholstery, flexible seating options, rear AC vents and decent accessories for the second and third rows.

On the technology front, the Ramian is equipped with the Toyota i-Connect, which provides smartwatch compatibility, distance operations, climate control and safety alerts. A 17.78 cm smartplay wireless further enhances the infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted control, and an arcamis audio system.

Under the hood, the MPV is operated by both petrol and CNG options by a 1.5-liter K-series engine. Petrol Neodrive variant provides up to 20.51 km/L, while the CNG version saves 26.11 km/kg. Customers can choose between 6-speed automatic transmission with 5-speed manual or paddle shifters.
Ramian also includes advanced safety features such as vehicle stability control (VSC), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, Break Assist and Isofix Child Mount. Supported by the after-sales services of Toyota, the vehicle comes with a 3-year/100,000 km warranty, which is expandable up to 5 years/220,000 km, as well as 24×7 roadside assistance and express maintenance support.
