1. Pahalgam terrorist attack
Terrorists hit Basaron, a major tourist place in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, on Tuesday, killing at least 26 people, mostly injured and many others were injured. This was the worst terrorist attack in the region since the Pulwama strike in 2019. In the counterants, India reduced relations with Pakistan, accused the neighboring country of harassing terrorists.
2. India reduces relations with Pakistan

3. PM Modi’s rare English message for the world
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that he wants the world to know that India will identify every terrorist and punish them. PM Modi, in a rare English speaking gesture, said that the Pahalgam terrorist attack and those parts of the conspiracy would be punished beyond his imagination.
Addressing the gathering in the pole-bound state in English, Modi said, “Today, from the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world, India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backers.”
4. PM Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia
Just before the initiative terrorist attack, PM Modi started a two -day visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Kingdom. However, the Prime Minister had to cut his visit, as 26 people were killed after a terrorist attack in Pahgam.
5. Pope Francis’s funeral
Pope Francis died on Monday at the age of 88 after a 12 -year -old sinner. He died about a month after his treatment at the hospital for double pneumonia. Vatican said Francis died after stroke.
The funeral of Pope Francis, who died at the age of 88, will be on Saturday (local time). After a multi-speaking mass at St. Peter Square, his coffin will be taken to Santa Maria Magior Basilica in Central Rome for burial.

6. Russia-Ukraine peace talks
US President Donald Trump on Friday asked Ukraine and Russia to meet for a “very high level of talks”, saying that they are “very close to a deal” to end the three -year war “.
Trump posted on his true social site shortly after Pope Francis reached Rome for the funeral that it was “a good day in conversations and meetings with Russia and Ukraine.” His messenger, Steve Witchoff on Friday visited Moscow to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
