Tom Holland is rumored to tap for the lead role in the upcoming James Bond film.
Hollywood star Tom Holland has finally broken his silence on rumors that he is joining the James Bond Franchise. Over the last few days, several reports have claimed that the Spider-Man Star is running as the next 007, and has been listed by many as ‘front’.
During a conversation with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay on his YouTube channel, Tom was asked about the bond report. “Listen, there are speculation at this time. We will keep it minimum for now. We will reach there one day,” he said. The actor shared that he would like to play the role of James Bond someday. “Every young British actor, this is the peak of working in our industry. I already consider myself the most lucky child; I could not dream of the career that I have,” Tom said.
Many actors, including Holland, Jacob Alfry and Harris Dickinson, are rumored to be at the forefront of the part.
James Bond Franchise is being rebooted after Amazon MGM Studio took IP earlier this year. Directed by Dennis Villainuv and ready to be written by Steven Knight, the film is currently in development and is expected to ride the next 007 after going below the role of Daniel Craig in 2021.
Not much is known about the next James Bond film or its casting. Dune currently with Villainuway: Busy with Messiah, it is unlikely that the film will start production soon. The film will be produced by Amy Pascal and David Heman.
But before Tom will be seen in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Marvel’s fourth single film as web-skin superhero. The first look of Marvel and Sony co-production was unveiled on Saturday. Filming is currently going on in Glasgow. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on 31 July 2026.
