Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Tuesday that all schools in the state would be closed from 27 to 30 August due to heavy rains forecasts. In the last two days, many villages have been flooded in various districts of the state continuously.
“He has been raining heavy for the last few days and the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains for the next few days. In view of this, all the primary, secondary, senior government and private schools of the state will remain closed from August 27 to August 30,” CM Mann posted on X.
