College campuses are often the center of discussion around sexual consent, yet the way people understand and interpret it is not straightforward. Scenarios vary depending on the type of consent (explicitly given, explicitly declined, or vague), alcohol consumption (sober, tipsy, or drunk), and type of relationship (dating or stranger). Participants rated each scenario based on perceived consent, likelihood of sexual assault, and the woman’s willingness to engage.
