Following the death of Kyle Marissa Roth on April 15, the TikTok community is grappling with another devastating loss. Eva Evans, the rising social media star and influential New York actress who created the Prime Video comedy series Club Rat, has died. Evans’ sister, Lila, announced the news of his unfortunate passing via an Instagram post on April 21.
Urging people to share the post so it can reach everyone in time, Leela wrote on social media: “Yesterday my family received the news that our sweet, brilliant, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, “My beautiful sister has died.”
She shared a hilarious photo of Eva and described how she felt stuck in a “constant cycle of denial and acceptance.” Keeping the Internet eulogy brief, he said: “I wish I had Eva to mention here now because she would have better words and know what not to say.”
Lila noted at the end of the note that as her family plans next steps, she will return online at a later time to express how much her sister means to her and “how different the world would be without her.”

Her family is currently planning a “Celebration of Eva” in lower Manhattan on Tuesday, April 23. In a subsequent Instagram post, Lisa updated the location to where they will honor Eva’s life at Grace Church in downtown Manhattan due to the “overwhelming response” to the previous post. An intimate gathering of immediate family and friends will take place at a later date, details of which will be announced privately.
The latest update on Instagram ended with a description of the service:
“Location: Grace Church, corner of 10th Street and Broadway.
Date: Tuesday, April 23, 4 pm.
Dress: Nothing fancy, but no pressure. All dark colors.”
Eva’s cause of death had not been confirmed at the time of writing.
