More than 20 patients are reaching the hospital every day with complaints of pain in the throat, prickling sensation and ulcers. Doctors say that the reason for this increasing problem is wrong eating habits. Due to which people are having throat problems. In some severe cases, patients are experiencing throat allergies as well as blisters, which are making their condition more painful. Dr. Digpal Dutt, ENT specialist of the Joint Upazila Hospital, told Local 18 that these days, patients suffering from prickling sensation in the throat, feeling of something stuck in the throat and throat allergy are coming in large numbers.
This is the cause of allergy in the throat
Dr. Digpal Dutt says that considering it to be an allergy, patients are taking various types of painkillers and antibiotics from medical stores and are also undergoing various types of tests, but the exact cause of the disease is not being known. The main reason for this is wrong eating habits, due to which patients are facing problems like hyperacidity and gas. At present, people’s eating habits are not good and there have been many changes in their lifestyle. They are eating many types of foods, due to which this problem is arising.
Keep these things in mind
He told that in case of throat allergy, pain relievers and antibiotics should not be taken at all, because these medicines can cause ulcers in the stomach. If there is pain in the throat or change in voice, the patient should not worry. One should drink maximum amount of water and avoid fast food. Beverages like tea and coffee should not be consumed excessively, as they can increase the problem of hyperacidity and gas, which causes throat allergies.
