He further said that this car has been the first choice of people in the hybrid segment and this is the reason why 2 lakh units of this car have been sold.
The company introduced this car keeping fuel efficiency in mind and since its launch, the sales of the car have always been good. The car is supported by an electric motor along with a petrol engine. This helps in increasing mileage. This motor runs on a lithium ion battery.
