Jalori Pass, located at a distance of about 12 kilometers from Jibhi, is a place which seems no less than a paradise. Situated at an altitude of 10,000 feet, this pass is famous for its amazing greenery, serene environment and views of snow-capped mountains. This is the same place where the trekking scene of the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was shot.
The road to reach Jalori Pass passes through dense deodar forests. The fresh air here, the sweet sounds of birds and the snow covered mountains will make your journey memorable. This place is like a paradise for trekking and nature lovers. From Jalori Pass you can trek to Serolsar Lake, which is the main attraction here. The road to the lake is about 5 kilometers long and is full of untouched views of nature.
To reach Jalori Pass from Jibhi, you will have to take a taxi or your own car. In winter, this road is closed due to snowfall, then only 4 by 4 vehicles are allowed to reach Jalori Pass. Apart from this, you will get to enjoy Himachali culture and local food in the villages around Jibhi and Jalori. Don’t forget to enjoy the local food here like Siddu, Chana Madra and Kadhi Rice.
