New Delhi. WhatsApp recently released the PIN message feature for chats. With this, users can pin any one message at the top of a chat or group. At present, there is an option to pin only one message in this feature. But, according to a report, soon users may get the option to pin three messages simultaneously. Because, it is being prepared by WhatsApp. This will give users more control over their conversations. Users will be able to highlight many important messages within the chat.
According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp is testing the feature of pinning multiple messages in chats. This feature is being tested on WhatsApp beta version 2.24.6.15 for Android. The update introduces a new interface designed for navigation in pinned messages. Through this new interface, users will be able to easily access and manage their pinned messages.

The method of pinning chats will be as easy and straightforward as before. For this, Android users will have to tap and hold on the message. Then you have to select List Pin. After this, PIN duration will have to be selected among 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. At the same time, iPhone users will have to tap and hold on the message. Then you have to go to More Options and select any one duration among 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. However, even after the new update, only three messages can be pinned. In such a situation, if you want to pin a new and fourth message, then WhatsApp will automatically remove the old message from the list.
Through this new feature, users will be able to pin and highlight important messages, reminders or any announcement that are frequently used especially in a college, school, office or family group. These pinned messages will start appearing at the top of the chat for a specified period.
