New Delhi. Ather Energy has launched its new electric scooter Ather Rizta in India. This new electric scooter has been made family-friendly. It has been launched in three variants namely Rizta S, Rizta Z and Rizta Z (3.7kWh). The base-spec Ather Rizta S is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Rizta Z variant is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas, the price of top Ather Rizta Z (3.7kWh) model has been fixed at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Let us know the big things about this scooter.

Due to the larger rear frame, the Ather Rizta not only has the largest seat in the scooter segment, but it also has 34-litres of underseat storage. Under the seat, the model also has a small pocket designed to hold small items like keys and a wallet. The Ather Rizta S and Rizta Z variants are equipped with a 2.9kWh battery pack, and both models come with a certified range of 123 km. Apart from this, it takes 6 hours 30 minutes to charge this battery pack up to 80 percent.

Whereas, Ather Rizta Z (3.7kWh) has a 3.7kWh battery pack. In this case, its certified range is 160 km. However, despite the large battery, this model can charge up to 80 percent capacity in just 4 hours and 30 minutes. Talking about performance, the top speed of the new Ather Rizta electric scooter is 80 km/hour.

The Rizta S comes with a 7-inch segmented display along with other features like LED lighting and turn-by-turn navigation. However, even with the Pro pack of Rs 13,000, it does not have features like magic twist, skid control, document storage, live location sharing and WhatsApp preview. On the other hand, both variants of the Rizta Z come with all the features mentioned above along with document storage, trip planner, SmartEco mode, Bluetooth call and music control, auto hold, fall safe, auto indicator cut-off, ESS, Google Maps, Other features like real-time charging status, and Alexa are also provided.

All variants of Ather Rizta come with 3 years/30,000 km scooter and battery warranty. With Ather Battery Protect, customers can extend their battery warranty up to 5 years/60,000 km.
