Chitrakoot: The religious city Chitrakoot has been the abode of Lord Shri Ram. Because Prabhu Shri had spent eleven and a half years here during his exile period. In such a situation, the Tourism Department has now prepared the outline for the beautification and development of the tourist centers of Chitrakoot.
In this project, beautification work of the famous Ramghat of Chitrakoot will be done. After beautification it will remain the center of attraction. Let us tell you that every day thousands of devotees come to the banks of Ramghat to take bath in the Mandakini river.
This ghat will be beautified with crores of rupees
Preparations have been started to complete the process of development and widening of the road in Ramghat of religious city Chitrakoot at a cost of Rs 18.30 crore, in which the beautification of Ramghat situated on the banks of Mandakini river is being done in view of cultural and urban rejuvenation. In which street lights, replacement of stones installed in Ramghat, lighting to attract devotees along with many other beautification works will be done. A target has been set to complete this work in 2 years.

At the same time, in the case of beautification taking place in Ramghat, DM Chitrakoot Shivsharan Pa Jean told Local 18 that the work of beautification of Ramghat is to be done by the Tourism Department at a cost of Rs 18.30 crore, which will include replacement of stones there, installation of beautiful attractive lights in Ramghat. Also, as per the intention of Uttar Pradesh Government, it will be beautified on the lines of Banaras, the work of which has started.
