In a meeting held in Bikaner in this regard, the collector said that work should be done in a planned manner considering the possibilities of tourism development in the district. Domestic and foreign tourists should stay here as much as possible and visit the tourist places here.
Preparation for International Camel Festival
The collector asked to form teams that can work together for cleanliness in the Heritage Route, Junagadh, Bikaji ki Tekri and other tourist places. Also, the public lighting system should be in good condition in these areas. He said that the preparations and promotion of the International Camel Festival should be started soon. The help of influencers should be taken for promotion on various social media platforms.
Jodbid Conservation Reserve will become a tourist point
There is a plan to develop Jodbid Conservation Reserve and Raisar as tourist points. The collector said that all necessary arrangements should be made there. Toilets will be built, various signages will be installed, and effective lighting arrangements will also be made. The Municipal Corporation will get paintings related to reserves and vultures done on public walls throughout the city.
Tourism on the dunes in Bikaner too
The collector said that on the lines of Jaisalmer, a large area of dunes in Bikaner should also be developed for tourism. Also, houses should be identified for homestay in the border area. Tourism in Sanchu post was discussed in the meeting.
