During an interview with AyraNews24x7 Showsha, Abhishek Banerjee told what kind of roles he was getting after ‘Stree’. He said, ‘After playing the role of Jana, I was getting goofy characters. Everyone wanted me to wear some colorful and bright clothes and speak dialogues in the same style. Jana is just a character. Although she is very close to me, I am not like that at all in real life. Then I worked in Dream Girl and Bala. Everyone started thinking that I am a comic actor.’
He robbed the gathering by becoming a villain
