To enjoy Naini Lake as well as the beautiful valleys of entire Nainital, you will have to sit in the ropeway. The ropeway takes you down from Appu Ghar to the Snow View situated on the top of Sher Ka Danda hill, from where you can see beautiful views, greenery and the magnificent Himalayan range. After reaching the top of the ropeway, through the binoculars installed in Snowview, you can see the entire Himalayan range including India’s second highest peak Nanda Devi, Nepal’s Annapurna range, Panchachuli. The ropeway ticket is Rs 360 for adults, while Rs 260 for children aged 3-12 years. Along with this, one-way ticket facility is also available in the ropeway, for which the ticket for adults has been kept at Rs 200 while for children of 3-12 years the ticket has been kept at Rs 150.
