New Delhi. The compact SUV market in India is no less than a battlefield for manufacturers. All old and new companies try their best in it. However, the sales figures for last month i.e. May 2024 have come out. According to the sales report, Tata Punch has emerged as the market leader. Customers’ trust remains on this compact SUV.
Tata Punch has been the best-selling compact SUV in India in May 2024. 18,949 units of it have been sold. It can see a growth of 70 percent with a figure of 11,124 units as compared to May 2023. The popularity of Punch can be gauged from these sales figures.

It is followed by Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which has secured a close position with sales of 14,186 users in May 2024. This figure shows a growth of 6 percent as compared to 13,398 units sold in May 2023. At the same time, Maruti Suzuki Fronx has secured the third position with sales of 12,681 units, which is 29 percent more than the 9,863 units sold last year.
Tata Nexon is at the fourth position in this list with sales of 11,457 units. In May last year, 14,423 units of this SUV were sold. In this respect, there is a decline of 21 percent. The delivery of Mahindra XUV 3XO (XUV 300) started only last month and it has crossed the figure of 10,000 units. Here a growth of 95 percent can be seen compared to 5,125 units last year.
After this, the names of Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Exter, Kia Sonet, Mahindra Thar and Nissan Magnite are in the list.
