New Delhi. Public sector bank Union Bank of India has recently changed the interest rates on fixed deposits (FD) of less than Rs 2 crore. Private sector lender Karnataka Bank has also revised its FD interest rates from January 20, 2024.
According to the website of Union Bank of India, the new FD rates of Union Bank of India have come into effect from January 19, 2024. Senior citizens get an additional interest rate of 0.5 percent on FD of any tenure. Super senior citizens (individuals above 80 years of age) get an additional interest rate of 0.75 percent on any tenure of FD.
Union Bank of India FD Rates (General Public)
7 days to 14 days – 3.50 percent
15 days to 30 days – 3.50 percent
31 days to 45 days – 3.50 percent
46 days to 90 days – 4.50 percent
91 days to 120 days – 4.80 percent
121 days to less than a year – 4.90 percent
1 year – 6.75 percent
1 year to less than 398 days – 6.75 percent
399 days – 7.25 percent
400 days to 2 years – 6.50 percent
More than 2 years and less than 3 years – 6.50 percent
3 years – 6.50 percent
More than 3 years and up to 5 years – 6.50 percent
More than 5 years to 10 years – 6.50 percent

7 days to 45 days – 3.50 percent
46 days to 90 days – 4.00 percent
91 days to 179 days – 5.25 percent
180 days – 6.00 percent
181 days to 269 days – 6.05 percent
270 days to less than a year – 6.50 percent
1 year to 2 years – 6.95 percent
375 days – 7.10 percent
444 days – 7.25 percent
More than 2 years and 5 years – 6.50 percent
More than 5 years to 10 years – 5.80 percent
