New Delhi. Superstar Shahrukh Khan is in the headlines these days for his upcoming film ‘King’. This action drama film will give a different kind of experience to the Indian audience. The makers are leaving no stone unturned for this. After ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawaan’, the superstar will once again make a splash in the high-octane action genre. Shahrukh Khan’s ‘King’ is already in the headlines for its big budget.

The teaser of the film was released on Shahrukh Khan’s birthday (2 November), which made the fans crazy. Not only his salt-and-pepper look, but also the film’s grand scale and visuals caught everyone’s attention. According to the information received so far, ‘King’ will give the experience of global-level action on the big screen, which will be full of emotions, style and spectacular scale.

‘King’ was made at a cost of Rs 350 crores

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, ‘King’ is being made with a huge budget of Rs 350 crore, making it one of the most expensive action films ever made in India. Director Siddharth Anand has previously made Bollywood action films like ‘Pathan’ and ‘War’. He plans to make ‘King’ in such a way that it can compete with the best films of Hollywood.

There will be 6 world level action sequences in the film.

According to sources, the director has planned 6 world level action sequences for the film, out of which three will be shot on real international locations, while the rest will be shot on designed sets. The opening sequence of the film, in which Shahrukh Khan will be introduced, is considered to be one of the biggest highlights of the film and is also included among the most expensive scenes ever filmed in Indian films.

The budget of the film increased because of Shahrukh Khan

Interestingly, ‘King’ was not initially being made as a big budget action film. According to initial reports, when this project started, Suhana Khan was given the lead role and the command of direction was handed over to Sujoy Ghosh. At that time the budget was fixed at Rs 150 crore. But as the story developed and Shahrukh Khan decided to play the lead role in the film, the team realized that it could be made on a larger scale. After this, Siddharth Anand joined the project as director, who brought his special style of big scale and thrilling storytelling to this film.
