Dr. Sumit Kapadia, vascular surgeon and varicose vein expert, shared their June 21 post 6 subtle but important signs, when your body can give you when your intestine is in trouble and why you should not ignore them.
1. Persistent swelling or gas
If your stomach feels like a balloon after meals, it is not “normal”. It is a red flag that your intestine is struggling to break the food efficiently.
2. Skin breakout (even in your 30s)
Acne, rashes, or eczema can often be detected back to internal inflammation due to the balance of poor intestine bacteria.
3. Brain fog or poor focus
More than 90% of your serotonin (feel-gud hormone) is produced in your intestine. If your brain feels cloudy or unfocied, your intestine may be missing.
4. Irregular intestinal movements
Diarrhea, constipation, or unexpected toilet routine? Your intestine is really telling you something.
5. Chinese crawings or energy recession
All the time sugar craving or crash by 3 o’clock? An unbalanced intestine can mess up with signs of your blood sugar and appetite.
6. Always tired, no matter how much you sleep
A damaged intestine affects nutritional absorption. So even if you eat well, your body is not getting what it needs.
“The truth is: the issues of the intestine do not always shout. Sometimes, they whispering through mood, dull skin, or a dull brain,” Dr. Sumit says.
