According to IGI Airport Police Deputy Commissioner Usha Rangnani, four passengers who arrived at Delhi Airport from Tehran were detained by the Immigration Bureau recently, who were identified as Davinder Singh, Hira Singh, Pawandeep and Karam Singh. Some agents from Punjab had shown these four passengers the mirage of jobs and a luxurious life in Greece.

He told that in this deal of about 32 lakh rupees, these four were to be sent from Delhi to Armenia. From Armenia they were to be sent to Tehran (Iraq) and from Tehran to Greece. Under the deal, it was also said that all four would be given jobs. Due to a dispute with agent Arman in Tehran, these four had to return to India with exit visa.

How it was revealed
According to DCP Usha Rangnani, during the scrutiny of documents at IGI Airport, the Immigration Bureau officer found that there was some sticky substance on one page of the passports of the four. Investigation revealed that this sticky substance was the glue used to stick the visa sticker. After this, these four were taken into custody on the basis of suspicion.

During interrogation, they told that they had obtained Greece visa with the help of a person named Imran in Tehran. Due to a dispute, agent Imran removed the Greece visa from their passports. Since they could not go to Greece without a visa, all four somehow obtained an exit visa and left for India after paying the fine for overstay.

Police raids started in Punjab
According to DCP Usha Rangnani, after this revelation, the Immigration Bureau handed over the four accused to the IGI Airport Police.
