New Delhi. Maruti has sold over 2.8 lakh units of the Ignis hatchback since its launch in 2017. The Maruti Ignis now gets a new special edition called the Radiance edition, which is available with all variants of the hatchback except the mid-spec Delta. This is an accessorised version of the hatchback just like the Maruti Brezza Urbano Edition.
With the Radiance Edition, the starting price of the Ignis has come down from Rs 5.84 lakh to Rs 5.49 lakh, which is a price cut of Rs 35,000. The base-spec Sigma Radiance Edition comes with all-wheel covers, door visors and body side mouldings (in chrome) for Rs 3,650. If you buy these separately, all the items will cost Rs 5,320.
If you want the high-spec Zeta or Alpha variants with the Radiance Edition, Maruti is offering them with seat covers, cushions, door cladding and door visors, which cost a total of Rs 9,500. If you choose all these items separately, it will cost Rs 11,9710.

The Ignis was one of the first few products to be offered from Maruti’s premium Nexa showrooms after the 2015 S-Cross and Baleno. It received a midlife refresh in 2020 and is now available in four broad variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.
Maruti has introduced the Ignis with a single 1.2-liter petrol engine (83 PS/113 Nm), which will have the option of a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). The company claims a fuel efficiency of 20.89 kmpl for both manual and AMT variants.
It has a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto AC, height-adjustable driver seat, keyless entry and push-button start/stop. In terms of safety, Maruti has provided features like dual front airbags, reversing camera and Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
