Remember the early days of streaming shows in India? When the word web series was not invented. Those were the times when the platforms were not present, and were shown on YouTube for free. This idea was simple – tell Ala, roots, reliable stories that cannot find a place on big screen. In this way Indian streaming began before Big Stars and the big show chose it. But despite the spread of India’s web show, some titles have managed to keep OG Dream alive. Indian OTT usually does not perform season 4. There are films that have also done four parts (or five). But the show decreases. Even reputed titles such as Holy Sports and Mirzapur have been limited to two or three sessions. Stability on Indian OTT requires a difficult balance between popularity and strength. In short, a show should have a small sufficient measure that can be applied in many seasons, and yet it should be able to reach enough people that the platform can justify bringing it back year -to -half. The panchayat has succeeded in making that sweet place completely hit.
It began as an innovative, slice-of-life concept, in which no one expected to become today’s creed classic. Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Raghuvik Yadav claim a strong actors in the TVF show, but none of them were box office, often work for producers. But then, the TVF manner is true, the panchayat focused on storytelling and story to hook the audience rather than any stardom.
The success of the first season could have been rejected as a temporary, but since then everything has denied that claim. The continuous success of the panchayat shows that there is still a place for a good story in the minds of the Indian audience. Manufacturers, critics, and even stars often mourn that good stories do not get the audience. Photos of empty theater screening award winning films are associated with Gargantuan collection of bang average films to run home at this point. This prosecution of the audience cannot be without merit, but then how do you explain to the panchayat. Each season in the show tops the number of spectators, and each passing manages to go deep into the pop culture with the year.
Panchayat USP
There may be a surprise what makes the panchayat successful. The relatives and inertia present in the show have also been materials in other titles. But the panchayat is married with timeliness. Except for the second season, which was delayed by the epidemic, the show managed to return within 15–18 months every time. By July, the three sessions of the panchayat would have been released since the final Stranger Things episode. While many other shows wait for the audience, the makers of the panchayat ensure that the time for a quick change respects the audience’s expectation.
The fourth season will be a stream on Amazon Prime Video next month. All of us can expect new memes, some innovative story tell, and possibly the secretary finally discovered his calling. But all these are speculation. To ensure that the audience would get entertainment, unflied, raw and desi – actually Indian Oats originally promised a decade ago.
