Although at the beginning of the video, he mentioned that there are 5 strategies to lose abdominal fat, he later revealed that there is only one, effective approach: maintaining a consistent calorie deficit together with patience.

How to not lose stomach fat?

Fitness coaches introduce four ineffective strategies that often avoid fat decrease, including targeted abdominal practice, an extreme calorie deficit, fat burner, or appetite pressing and engaging in short-term, high-enemy cardio.

These strategies are often sold as a one-stop solution to lose stomach fat:

  • The targeted AB is working. This means doing exercises like crunch and sit-up that target the area where you want to lose fat.
  • Going to an extreme calorie deficit, eating very little food makes a huge calorie deficit, forcing your body to burn fat from areas where you want to burn this fat.
  • Taking fat burner and suppression of hunger, which to eat less than you lose fat in the stomach.
  • Perform extreme cardio for a short time. I am talking about cardio with high intensity of one and a half to two hours for 2 to 3 weeks, which forces your body to burn more calories and, as a result, burns more fat from your stomach.

What does it really help in burning stomach fat?

The fitness coach said that none of these four options works for long periods, they are called myths. Rather, the option that actually works is a consistent calorie deficit with great patience. Why?
