An Australian woman debated on social media after posting a video on Instagram, discussing the cultural difference between India and the West, especially the dependence of Indian professionals on domestic help for household chores.
He also mentioned that people in India lack work-life balance.

Along with the video, Podcast Manufacturer, Brie Steel wrote in his Instagram post: “Work? Hardly he knows! It is one of the lowest speaking cultural differences between India and the West.”
Comparing the daily life in India with the West, Steel said that in the West, most people manage cooking and domestic work with full -time jobs.
But, in India, most families have domestic workers for such tasks. He said in his video, “I don’t eat or clean in India. I don’t know them.”
He said, “Most middle class houses in rich houses in India have help. Most people have someone who cleaning themselves, perhaps for their washing and cooking,” he said.
Steel further said: “I was this, this is what we do in the West. We do everything ourselves with full -time jobs.”
Accepting that Indian professionals work for a long time compared to their counterparts in the West, the podcast manufacturer said: “Over time, I have seen that my friends get a work call like 9.30 at night, and there is no work-life balance here. There is hope on corporate workers that if you are single, then you do not have time to do cottage and cleaning.”
“And for better or worse, labor is cheap in India, so it is understandable that everyone has their home help,” he said.
Concluding her video, Steel admitted that she feels “embarrassed” that she does not enjoy cooking or cleaning every day.
