Los Angeles – Loni Anderson, who played a strong receptionist of a struggling radio station on the hit TV comedy “WKRP in Cincinnati”, died on Sunday a few days before his 80th birthday.
Anderson died after a “prolonged” disease in a hospital in Los Angeles, his long -time campaigner, Cheryl J. Kagan said.
Anderson’s family said in a statement, “We are breaking hearts to announce the death of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother.”
“WKRP” in Cincinnati was aired from 1978–1982 and set in a flag at the Ohio radio station trying to strengthen itself with rock music. The cast included Gary Sandy, Tim Reid, Howard Hasiman, Frank Bonor and John Smithers, sexy and smart Jennifer Marlow.
As a receptionist of the station, Jennifer, a fair and heels, used his sex appeal to deflect unwanted business calls for his boss, Mr. Carlson. His efficiency often kept the station in front of the disability of others.
Bhumika earned two Amy Award nominations and three Golden Globe nominations to Anderson.
Anderson starred on a big screen with Burt Rrenalds in the 1983 comedy “Stroker Ace” and the two later got married and became a tabloid fixtures before divorcing in 1994.
Anderson wrote an autobiography of 1995, “My Life in High Heels”, which she said that “a woman’s growth, a woman who survives. It is about my childhood, my parents, my career, my divorce and death of my children. Then, of course, my wedding trauma for the burt.”
“I think if you are going to write about yourself, you have to do it and all,” Anderson told the Associated Press. “You can’t even tell the best things about yourself, because you are telling the truth.”
Anderson has survived from her husband Bob Flick, Beti Didra and Van-in Son-in Son Charlie Hoffman, son Quinton Anderson Reynolds, grandson McKenzie and Megan Hoffman, step-son Adam Flick and wife Helen, step-grandson Felix and Maximilians.
