A day after a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas, killing one person and injuring seven others, authorities have identified the driver who died in the crash.
according to associated Press News agency, the driver of the Tesla Cybertruck – Matthew Livelsberger – is an active-duty Special Forces operations sergeant who was on leave from Germany and the United States.
Three US officials were cited in one AP The report said he was a 37-year-old Colorado resident and Army soldier serving in Germany with the 10th SFG.
Leavelsberger reportedly spent time at the base, formerly known as Fort Bragg, a massive base in North Carolina that is home to the Army Special Forces Command.

The details say Livelsberger allegedly rented the electric pickup truck in Colorado through an app called Turo and then drove it to Nevada.
At the time of the incident, his car was loaded with fireworks such as mortars, camping fuel and canisters.
Meanwhile, following the incident on Wednesday, Federal Bureau of Investigation officials visited one of several Colorado Springs addresses linked to Leavelsberger.
The FBI has not ruled out a “terrorism aspect” and is investigating the blast as a possible terrorist act.
The Tesla explosion occurred when Shamsuddin-Deen Jabbar, 42, a US Army veteran, drove a pickup truck into people celebrating New Year in New Orleans’ famous French Quarter, killing 15 people. He died due to police firing.
