The Telangana government on Thursday announced that TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) will be conducted before the DSC exam to fill teacher posts. On February 29, the government had issued a notification for recruitment to 11,062 teacher posts.

The state government responded positively to the request of the candidates to conduct the examination. Tet Once again it is mandatory to appear in DSC exam for Teacher Eligibility Test.

“The Commissioner of School Education has been asked to conduct TET as soon as possible. The latest decision of the government has come as a big relief to more than three lakh candidates, Telangana CMO said in an official statement.

Tet was reportedly last held in September, 2023.
