New Delhi. Tata Motors has recently launched Punch EV. Punch EV is the fourth electric car in the company’s electric lineup after the launch of Tata Nexon EV, Tiago EV and Tigor EV. Tata Motors had said in a statement that a total of 10 electric cars will be included in the company’s lineup by 2025. In this sequence, the company has started preparing to launch another electric car next year.
Tata Motors’ next electric car will be Tata Altroz EV, which the company is planning to launch in 2025. The company introduced Altroz EV at the 2020 Auto Expo. Tata Motors has officially confirmed that the Altroz EV will join the company’s lineup in 2025. Its production model is expected to be presented for the first time at the 2025 Auto Expo.
Will share features with Punch EV
According to some reports, it may share its design elements with the recently launched Punch EV. Its launch was also expected along with its presentation at the Auto Expo in 2020. However, the company replaced it with the launch plan of electric versions of Nexon, Tiago, Tigor and Punch. Tata Altroz EV will share its design and features with its petrol model. At the same time, there will not be much difference in its price from Punch EV.

If Tata Altroz EV is launched in 2025, it will be the only electric premium hatchback in its segment. At present, in the Indian market, leading car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai have not yet revealed their plans to launch electric models in the hatchback segment.
What will be the range and price?
According to reports, the range of Tata Altroz EV can be around 315-350 kilometers. Its estimated price can be Rs 11-15 lakh (ex-showroom).
