The special edition Suzuki Hayabusa features several changes on design, electronics and rideability, but the engine remains unchanged.
Suzuki has unveiled a special edition of the Hayabusa for 2026 in the international market. The new and updated version of the iconic sportsbike Suzuki Hayabusa comes with a lot of subtle but meaningful changes. This bike has been introduced in the international markets and its India launch is not confirmed yet.
While the Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition is powered by the familiar 1,340 cc inline-four engine capable of producing 190 bhp of maximum power and 150 Nm of peak torque, the updated version of the bike gets several changes on the design, electronics and rideability.

The Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition is available in the UK at an estimated price of GBP 18,599, which is approximately Rs. 21.55 lakh. Although the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer is yet to confirm its India launch, if the special edition of the Suzuki Hayabusa is introduced in the country, it is expected to be priced slightly higher than the existing India-spec model, which is priced at Rs 18.06 lakh (ex-showroom).

A special paint scheme has been introduced for the sportsbike. The two-wheeler giant has introduced a special edition of the iconic bike with an attractive blue and white color scheme. Other visual updates introduced on the Suzuki Hayabusa special edition include a 3D brand emblem, special edition badging on the fuel tank and a seat cowl as standard.
Suzuki has redesigned the bike’s select throttle maps to increase its low-end torque generation capability. This results in strong acceleration in everyday riding situations, making the Suzuki Hayabusa very easy to handle even in congested city traffic or while commuting.
Another important change made to the Suzuki Hayabusa is the cruise control system, which has been refined. Compared to before, the cruise control system now remains active during gear shifts when the rider uses the bi-directional quickshifter. Additionally, the auto OEM has modified the Hayabusa’s launch control system for faster takeoff.
The company has also updated the lithium-ion battery in the motorcycle and replaced it with a more compact and lightweight unit, resulting in a reduction in weight, adding much better handling for the rider.
