Govinda has condemned his wife Sunita Ahuja’s remarks against their family priest Pandit Mukesh Shukla a few days ago.
Earlier this month, actor Govinda condemned and apologized for the recent statement made by his wife Sunita Ahuja against their family priest. He shared a video statement on Instagram Stories, in which he spoke in detail about his priest’s expertise and his long relationship with his family. Now, in her latest YouTube vlog, Sunita has said that she did not like Govinda’s apology and she would never want him to apologize for his comments.
What did Sunita share?
Sunita said, “I am very aware that I have used some wrong words. My beloved Govinda ji, my father, has also apologized for folding my hands. I did not like it at all because I have to tell you something, I never wanted you to fold my hands in front of anyone (I am hearing things like I said something wrong. For that my beloved husband Govinda had to I did not like that at all because I would never want him to apologize in front of anyone because of me.”
She added, “I did not take anyone’s name, that is, I specifically spoke about someone. I spoke with him in such a way that the cheese was in such a way that I said it. If you have insulted anyone, I would like to apologize to the Guruji of Har Sidh Pith and the Guruji of this place, if anyone has insulted me. I have said the same as per my experience. What did Sunita say?
Sunita had made her comment on Paras Chhabra’s podcast. He was talking about fraudulent babas when he said, “We have someone like that in our house too!”
Sunita said, “He is Govinda’s priest. He is a fake. He keeps suggesting new rituals and pujas and keeps charging money for them. ‘Get these pujas done,’ and Get this puja done for 2 lakhs 2 lakh)!’ I tell him many times that he should do his own puja because his puja will not benefit Govinda. I don’t believe in giving 2 or 10 lakhs for the so-called rituals.”
The latest tussle between Govinda and his wife comes amid long standing rumors of their separation.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s relationship started in the 1990s, long before he became a household name. Sunita, who is related to Govinda through her maternal family, met him when both of them were very young. They got married quietly in March 1987, choosing to keep the ceremony private, at a time when Govinda was venturing into films.
