Mumbai, 12 September 2025: Summerset Indus Capital Partners announced that Fund III is in the final stages of its close, near the USD ~ 250 million, with the completion of documents.
The fund has attracted strong participation from both existing and new limited partners, which reflects the constant confidence in the Samarset ‘Capital for change’ Investment philosophy.
With Fund III, Summerset has focused focus on addressing the needs of healthcare in India’s “missing middle” by supporting new businesses that provide cheap, accessible and quality healthcare in Tier II and Tier III markets. This differential strategy resonates strongly with global investors, and has given rise to many impact-esitary LPs recognizing demographic changes in India’s underscribed regions.
The fund has seen commitments from a diverse set of institutional investors, including:
- Development Finance Institute (DFI): Many DFIs from Europe and America
- Global Institute: Global Investment Company and Marki European Institute
- Domestic anchor: One of the largest financial banks in India
- Other investors: Insurance companies, fund funds, family offices, and Europe and Southeast Asia investors affect
